Our sexual health plays an important role in our well-being and relationships. Yet, starting at puberty and continuing on to menopause, many of us go through our lives with little information about what makes for sexually and physically healthy and vibrant lives. In addition, menstrual cycles, pregnancy, menopause and other reproductive and sexual life stages can involve a variety of experiences including mood swings, irritability, post-partum depression, anxiety, insomnia or chronic pain. Unfortunately, our society lacks support networks for women experiencing these, and many women feel like there is “something wrong” with them when in fact there isn’t.
To address these, I offer individual sessions as well as weekly sexuality and sexual health groups to women using an integrated approach that incorporates psychological support, mindfulness and somatic exercises, and nutritional counseling.
